Created by Bernie Wrightson and Marv Wolfman in 1972 for WEIRD MYSTERY TALES #1, Destiny was the regular host of that series for the first fourteen issues, after which he hosted SECRETS OF HAUNTED HOUSE. He was since adopted by Neil Gaiman for his SANDMAN series as a brother in the family of immortals known as The Endless. Destiny is a tall figure in a dark robe and cowl who reads from a large book that is chained to his right wrist that contains all past, present and future history of the universe.
